Armenia's only standing Greco-Roman temple rises at the center of this walnut backgammon set — and the carver planted it in an orchard. Pomegranates hang heavy on one side, grapevines wind up the other, so the old sun temple stands where Armenians have always liked their monuments: surrounded by abundance.
All of it is hand-carved into solid walnut, the wood the workshop saves for its richest boards, with a full 23.6" / 60 cm nardi field waiting inside.
