Luxury World Map Blue Epoxy Backgammon Set in Walnut — Handmade in Armenia
Every continent is cut from wood and the oceans are poured in blue epoxy swirled with white and teal on the lid of this luxury backgammon set, a cut-out handle in the top edge and a walnut field inside. 60 × 60 cm / 23.6″ × 23.6″ open, 30 × 60 cm / 11.8″ × 23.6″ closed, handmade in Armenia.
The wooden backgammon board opens on two brass hinges to a walnut field with the points let in as blue epoxy lattice arrows, a pierced blue sun-wheel in each half, a carved leaf border along the bottom edge and a scalloped rail at each end for the checkers. Turn it over and the other face carries a chequered field of blue epoxy and wood squares with a compass rose in a carved roundel at either end, on a stippled ground.
Two brass clasps hold it closed; the wooden checkers, in dark and pale wood with turned rings, and the dice are included.

Good to Know Before You Buy
Are the continents wood or a print? Wood — each landmass is cut to shape and set into the lid, then the epoxy is poured round it and ground level with the surface, so the map is flat under the hand and the swirl in the blue is the pour itself. Inside, the blue points are epoxy inlaid into the walnut in the same way.
What about shipping and returns? Shipping is free worldwide and tracked. Every set is covered by our 30-day returns policy.
How do I look after it? Dust with a soft cloth and keep the resin out of strong sun. Close the board on its clasps to store it with the checkers inside.
