Armenian carvers have repeated ornament like this on doors, tombstones and book covers for centuries; here it is handmade and handcrafted into a board you will actually play. The walnut gives it that warm, almost floral glow only dark wood can carry. Inside is a full 23.6" / 60 cm playing field — a handmade wooden backgammon board for evenings that run long.
