Armenian Backgammon Set - Garni Temple in Scrollwork
Twenty-four columns, one improbable survivor: Garni is the only standing Greco-Roman colonnade left in Armenia, built to a sun god and still holding its line above the Azat gorge. It is carved at the center of this Armenian backgammon set, with scrollwork curling around the columns like ivy that never quite reaches the top.
Open the board and a full 23.6" / 60 cm nardi field waits inside. Classical order on the lid, complete chaos in the dice — a handmade wooden backgammon board that carries two thousand years of stubbornness into your living room.
