Luxury Walnut Backgammon Set - Ararat and Pomegranates
Armenia keeps two great symbols: the mountain it looks up to and the fruit it passes around. This luxury walnut backgammon set unites them in one master carving — Ararat holding the central panel, pomegranate branches bending under their own carved fruit on either side.
The relief work rewards slow looking. Each pomegranate is cut round and full, each leaf turned on its stem; the mountain's two peaks rise exactly as they do from the valley floor. Walnut deepens it all — a hand-carved wooden backgammon board with the presence of sculpture.
One symbol is for keeping, the other for sharing, and the game beneath does both. Open the board and split the evening among friends like seeds from the same fruit — a full 23.6" / 60 cm nardi field waits inside this handmade backgammon set. Mountain above, plenty below, dice in the middle.
