Georgian Backgammon Set - Coat of Arms in Bronze
A coat of arms begins its life in metal — hammered onto shields, mounted on gates. This Georgian backgammon set returns the favor: Saint George and the dragon are hand-carved in relief, then finished with gleaming bronze detailing, so the old emblem gets its armor back.
The bronze does what bronze always does: catches the lamplight first. Guests notice the gleam from across the room, come closer, find the saint mid-strike — and someone proposes a game on this handmade wooden backgammon board before the introductions are finished. Inside is a full 23.6" / 60 cm playing field.
