Every surface of this board is covered. Rows of raised diamonds run edge to edge across the walnut, each one cut by hand, each one meeting its neighbours exactly — and that is the whole difficulty of it. A single pattern repeated hundreds of times has nowhere to hide: get one diamond a fraction wide and the eye finds it immediately, from across a room, without knowing why. Nothing on this luxury walnut backgammon set is left plain.
What you get for that discipline is a board that changes with the light. Move around it and the raised faces catch and release, so the whole lid seems to shift while standing perfectly still — walnut does this better than any other wood the workshop uses. Open the clasps, let the bronze hinges swing back, and the full 23.6" / 60 cm playing field appears, calm and open after all that geometry. It is a good joke on the carver's part: hundreds of hours of pattern outside, and inside, room to think.

What is your return policy?
You can return any order within 30 days of delivery, for any reason, worldwide. Faulty or damaged items return free; for change-of-mind returns the item must be unused in its original packaging and you cover return shipping. EU and UK customers also have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right.
