Luxury Carved Games Table for Chess and Backgammon Sets — Handmade in Armenia
A square top scored into a fine mosaic of small squares, a lattice-carved apron and four cabriole legs: this luxury carved chess and backgammon table is a stand for the set you already own, not a board in itself. 60 × 60 cm / 23.6″ × 23.6″ top, 70 cm / 27.6″ high, handmade in Armenia.
The top is one flat plane under a glossy finish, its surface divided into a grid of tiny squares that catches the light like parquet, with a plain moulded edge. Below it the apron carries a band of carved diamond lattice on every side, gently scalloped along the bottom, and each cabriole leg has a carved leaf at the knee and a scrolled foot.
The four legs unbolt from the frame for shipping. The sets in the photos are separate listings shown for scale; a 60 cm folding backgammon board or chess board sits on the top with room to spare.
