Backgammon is older than almost everything in your house: boards have been found in five-thousand-year-old cities, and the game rode the Silk Road from Persia to every port and teahouse between. It has always been a game of East meeting West — and this hand-carved wooden backgammon set says so in one image: the lion of the West and the dragon of the East, locked together across the lid.
Courage against chaos, king against serpent — fitting both beasts, coiled and clawing, onto one board is a real test of the carver's hand. A luxury handmade backgammon board with a story on the outside and a full 23.6" / 60 cm playing field within.
