The taraz — the Armenian national costume — once told you everything about a person: which valley they came from, whether they were married, what their family did. Every region wove its own language of pattern. This walnut backgammon set carries that language across its central panel: geometric weaving motifs in deep red, cream and black, framed by finely carved borders.
