St. Gayane has stood at Etchmiadzin since the year 630 — a basilica so calm and perfectly proportioned that architects still study its balance, built over the grave of the martyred nun who gave it her name. On this Armenian backgammon set, that serenity is carved into wood.
It makes a different kind of statement than the grand boards: quieter, devotional, sure of itself. A handmade wooden backgammon board for the home where the old churches still mean something — with a full 23.6" / 60 cm playing field waiting inside.
