For a whole generation across the Caucasus, nardi was the sound of summer: boards open on courtyard tables, dice rattling until somebody's mother called them in. This handmade wooden backgammon set carries the coat of arms of the USSR carved at its center and picked out in gold, framed by flowing scrollwork — a nostalgia piece for anyone who remembers those tables.
Open the board and a full 23.6" / 60 cm nardi field waits inside. The emblem belongs to history now; the game never went anywhere. Set it up and the old evenings come back with it.
