Chess Set with Storage - Three Drawers
Three drawers on a 15.7" / 40 cm board — one at the front, one on each side. That is a great deal of storage for a small object, and it is the reason this one works: nothing about the set ever needs to live anywhere else. Above them sits a raised carved frame of scrollwork and lattice, and the whole board stands on short carved legs rather than flat on the table.
The playing field is beech and walnut, the pieces the same two woods in light and dark. It is a compact chess set with drawers built on a simple principle — that a board which is quick to clear is a board that gets played on. Pull a drawer, sweep the pieces in, and what stays on the shelf is a carved wooden object with nothing out of place.

You can return any order within 30 days of delivery, for any reason, worldwide. Faulty or damaged items return free; for change-of-mind returns the item must be unused in its original packaging and you cover return shipping. EU and UK customers also have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right.
