Armenian Backgammon Set - Open-Carved Ornament
Some boards fill every centimetre; this Armenian backgammon set knows when to stop. Traditional ornament is carved in a lighter, more open hand, so the warm grain of the wood shows through between the motifs — pattern and wood sharing the stage.
It is the handmade wooden backgammon board for the house that likes things calm: special without shouting, carved without crowding. Inside is a full 23.6" / 60 cm playing field, ready for the slow evening games this board was made for.
