Hripsime and Gayane were companions in life, martyrs in the same story, and for fourteen centuries their two churches have stood near each other at the heart of Etchmiadzin. This Armenian backgammon set carves them side by side — two UNESCO-listed silhouettes in hand-cut relief, framed in scrollwork, together as they have always been.
Two churches, two players, one table: the symmetry takes care of itself. Open the board to a full 23.6" / 60 cm nardi field and add your own long-running story to theirs. A handmade wooden backgammon set for homes where faith and history sit close.
