When a peacock opens its tail, a hundred eyes open with it — and for the old carvers of this region those eyes meant something: the peacock stands for immortality in Armenian and wider Christian art, often flanking the Tree of Life itself. On this hand-carved wooden backgammon set the bird is caught in full display, the fan spread wide across the lid.

You can return any order within 30 days of delivery, for any reason, worldwide. Faulty or damaged items return free; for change-of-mind returns the item must be unused in its original packaging and you cover return shipping. EU and UK customers also have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right.
